Wide open kitchen and family room in a Katy two-story home, large island and warm wood cabinets at dusk

Katy, Texas · Since 2015

Kitchen remodeling in Katy and West Houston.

Big islands, walk-in pantries and open rooms for families that cook every night and host every weekend. We also rebuild baths and whole homes across Cinco Ranch, Fulshear, Cypress and Bear Creek.

Built for crowds

Islands you can seat four at, pantries you can walk into and aisles wide enough for two cooks. We plan kitchens around holiday dinners and Friday night football, not around a catalog photo.

Materials that last

We pick finishes that take real family wear. Solid cabinet boxes, hard-working counters and flooring that handles dogs, kids and a dropped cast-iron pan. Good looks matter, but it has to stand up to Tuesday.

We know these houses

Builder homes in Katy, Cinco Ranch and Cypress share a lot of bones. Slab foundations, soffits hiding ductwork, load-bearing walls where you least want them. We plan for all of it up front.

Named for the wood

A kitchen should hold the whole family and then some.

Mesquite is a hard Texas wood. It burns slow, smells like Sunday and gets better with use. That is the kind of kitchen we like to build. One that is still working hard fifteen years from now, with a crowd standing around the island.

Most homes we see in Katy and Cinco Ranch went up between the 1990s and 2010s. Two stories, a small island, soffits over the cabinets, a pantry behind a door and a formal dining room nobody has eaten in since move-in day. The house is fine. The plan stopped fitting the family years ago.

So we open the kitchen to the family room, give you counter space for real cooking and put the pantry where you can walk into it. Our shop is on Franz Road in Katy, and we have been building this way since 2015.

What we build most

The three jobs that fill our calendar.

Kitchens first, then the baths and the rest of the house. Each one planned around how your family actually lives.

Kitchen Remodeling

This is the work we love. We take out the wall between the kitchen and the family room, pull down the soffits, and build an island big enough for homework, appetizers and four cooks at once. Walk-in pantries, wide ranges, hardwood-warm cabinets and lighting you can chop under. Made for houses where dinner is an event and the kitchen is where everybody ends up.

Wide primary bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanity and freestanding tub in a Katy home02

Bathroom Remodeling

Primary suites and kids' baths, rebuilt from the studs. We tear out the corner tub and the dated tile, then set a big walk-in shower, a double vanity and clean, modern finishes. In two-story builder homes we often steal space from a closet or a hallway so the room finally feels like a retreat after a long day.

Whole-Home Remodeling

When the kitchen is only the first problem. We reshape the downstairs, turn that unused formal dining room into something your family lives in, and refresh floors, lighting and baths across the house in one planned run. One schedule, one crew, one finished home. A natural fit for the master-planned neighborhoods around Katy and Cypress.

Call about the whole house

Everything else we build

One shop for the whole house and the yard.

Most families start with one room and keep going. Here is the rest of what we do, so you only plan the work once.

How a job runs

Four steps, no surprises.

You call the shop and we take it from there. This is how every project goes, from a kitchen to a whole house.

  1. 1

    Call and walk the house

We come out, stand in the kitchen with you and ask how the family cooks, who hosts and what gets in the way. We measure, look at the layout and tell you plainly what is possible.

  2. 2

    Plan together

You get a layout drawing, a materials list and a written scope with the numbers laid out. We pick cabinets, counters, flooring and lighting with you before anything is ordered.

  3. 3

    Build in order

Demo, framing, plumbing and electrical, drywall, cabinets, counters, finish work. We protect the rest of the house, keep the work area closed off and give you a schedule you can read.

  4. 4

Walk it and hand it back

We go through the finished room with you, fix whatever you point out and leave the house clean. Then you cook the first big meal in it.

Questions

What families ask us first.

Can you open my kitchen to the family room?

Usually, yes. It is one of the most common jobs we do in Katy and Cinco Ranch. We check what the wall carries, where the ductwork and wiring run and whether a beam is needed. Then we show you a layout before any demolition starts.

How long will we be without a kitchen?

A full kitchen usually takes a couple of months from demo to finish, depending on how much we move and how long the cabinets take to arrive. We give you a written schedule up front and set up a simple cooking corner so the family still eats.

What can be done with a closed-off pantry and small island?

Plenty. We often borrow space from the pantry, a dining room corner or a hallway to build a walk-in pantry and a much bigger island. The goal is more counter, more storage and clear paths so people stop bumping into each other.

Do you build outdoor kitchens?

Yes. Covered patios are a big part of life out here. We build grill lines, counters, sinks, bar seating, fans and lighting, and we match the finishes to the house so it looks like it was always there. Ask us how to tie the patio into the kitchen.

Will you remodel just a kitchen, or the whole house too?

Both. Many families start with the kitchen and keep going, with baths, floors and the living areas to follow. We handle the whole spectrum, from one room to a full-house plan, so everything matches in the end and you only plan the work once.

How do I get an estimate?

Call the shop or send the form. We come out, walk the house with you and measure. You get a written scope with the numbers laid out, usually within about a week. The visit costs nothing and there is no pressure.
